About Woodcare Planner
With our Woodcare Planner online tool, beginning a stain project has never been easier. Simply launch the app in any browser, from your desktop or right from your phone (no downloading required), and answer a few quick questions about the condition of your wood to get started.
You have the opportunity to visualize stain colors and transparencies on different decks, fences, structures, exterior furniture or siding projects, and get a product recommendation generated specifically for your project.
Woodcare Planner delivers staining tips and gives you the option to email your results for later reference. Built for DIYers with any level of experience, this powerful assistant takes the guesswork out of staining.

Pick Your Project
It all starts with what you plan on staining. Woodcare Planner has quick options for a deck, fence, exterior furniture, siding/shingles, or structures (like a pergola or a gazebo). We'll still be able to walk you through whatever your project may be, but those tend to be the most common.

Depending on the condition of your wood, you'll be able to choose from a clear, protective coating to full coverage with a solid color stain.

Receive Product Recommendations
After you have decided on a color, click VIEW RESULTS and Woodcare Planner will suggest one or more products specifically for your project.You'll also have the option to email the results and find the closest place to buy your stain and other materials.
